Last 2023 in November, our friends from SMPIP Daarul Jannah got a golden opportunity for a cultural exchange with NPO Good! In Itabashi city, Tokyo, Japan.

What is NPO Good?

NPO Good! It is a voluntary non-profit organization that helps others both on a national and international scale. We can see from the name that NPO stands for Non-Profit Organization and Good! is the Global Organization Of Dreamers. This organization was founded in 2001 in Japan, starting from a group of several people who love to help others now NPO Good! Already has more than 1,000 members, the majority of whom are students.

Warm Welcome

In this opportunity, our students from SMPIP Daarul Jannah had the opportunity to exchange cultures directly with members of NPO Good! Starting with a very warm welcome from NPO Good's members, which was then followed by a greeting from the founder of NPO Good itself, Mr. Isoda Koji.

Traditional Culture Performance

In this cultural exchange activity, our students from Indonesia brought typical Indonesian snacks, some brought balado chips, mustofa potatoes, candy, and many others. There were also traditional dance performances and singing Indonesian songs from SMPIP Daarul Jannah students! Which was then reciprocated by traditional dance performances from NPO Good! members.

Communication Practice

In addition, there was also a short and simple learning session for simple greetings in Japanese, where our students from Indonesia were given a direct opportunity to chat and get to know our friends from NPO Good! further.

Dinner Together

The event continued with dinner together at the NPO Good! It so happened that at that time the wife of the founder and also one of the members of NPO Good was having a birthday so everyone celebrated by singing birthday songs in Indonesian, which turned out to be very touching for the birthday person.

A Heartwarming Farewell

Finally, the cultural exchange program was closed with a brief thank you from the representatives of both parties and also the founder of NPO Good! by Mr. Isoda Koji and from SIP Daarul Jannah by Mrs. Vera Rina Dewi.

What an unforgettable experience, even now friends from SMPIP Daarul Jannah and NPO Good! Still communicate through social media, how exciting is that! Do you also want to have an unforgettable experience like our friends? Join Daarul Jannah Study Tour to Japan!
